So I'm telling my awesome cabin attendant how great of a view the glaciers are as I sit on my balcony chair for an Alaskan cruise last year; a great view with the exception of the rail that slightly obscured my view. Moments later, the steward arrives with a chair with a higher seat, borrowed from the staff lounge, which allowed for perfect glacier viewing. Service on Holland America is hard to beat, and the food is exceptional as well. This exclusive cruise line partner of the PPA tour has pickleball aboard its ships. I found the feel of the experience to be laid-back, which was just fine with me.
